The Black School: An Experimental Art School Teaching Radical Black Politics

This March, the Floret Coalition is supporting The Black School. The Black School is an experimental art school teaching Black, PoC students, and allies to become agents of change in their communities. Based on their commitment to community building and core principles of Black love, wellness, and self-determination, The Black School’s mission is to promote and extend the legacy of art in Black radical histories by providing innovative education alternatives. Donations support their programs such as the multi-generational community art workshops, youth Design Apprenticeships, Liberation Library, Life School, The N.O. X BK: Student Exchange Program, and The Black School Community Garden.
